Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can meet below eligibility criteria before goes for online application process:
Educational Qualifications:
- Assistant Professor: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university. Candidates should have qualified NET, SET or SLET. OR Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the applicable UGC Regulations are eligible for exemption from NET, SET or SLET, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification. For disciplines where NET or SET is not conducted, the exemption provisions mentioned by JKPSC shall apply.
- Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks. NET, SET or SLET qualification or exemption through a Ph.D. as prescribed in the notification. Additional academic requirements regarding computerization of libraries and research qualifications are applicable.
- College Director & Physical Education & Sports: Master’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science or Physical Education and Sports with the prescribed marks. Record of participation in University, State or National level sports competitions as specified. NET, SET or SLET qualification or exemption through a Ph.D. where applicable. Candidates must also satisfy the physical fitness requirements prescribed under UGC Regulations.
